Come to The New Windmill (home of Leamington FC on Harbury Lane) this Friday, May 5th to cheer the boys on in the County Cup Final. K/O 19:30...

Come to The Ricoh Arena (details to follow) on Wednesday, May 24th to see the final of the Cross-County Coventry Telegraph Cup!

Mr Wood gives his verdict on the semi-final match which got them to The Ricoh:

"The boys started the game strongly and had opportunities to take an early lead but were unable to capitalise, with a couple of good saves from the Stratford goal keeper. However it was only a matter of time until North Leam scored and after the 25 minute mark some excellent football resulted in Ross Quartermaine receiving the ball on the edge of the box. Ross proceeded to put the ball into the top corner of the net to allow NLS to go 1-0 up. With the boys looking in control a strike from distance from Stratford ended up in NLS conceding just before half time.

After a Wood and Morey half time team talk the boys started strongly and had an immediate response from Tom Rowe, whose strike made its way across the line. This was followed five minutes later by an excellent long ball from Joshua Aspinall-Smyth to Harry Hartin whose excellent first touch allowed him to continue his run into the box to clinically finish and make the score 3-1. With NLS looking comfortable again, a silly challenge on the edge of the box saw a well taken Stratford free kick bring the score to 3-2. After some determined play the boys closed out the game to book their place in the final at the Ricoh."
