CarrersOur careers provision at NLS aims to help our students to understand the range of opportunities available to them in today’s economy and acquire the skills and qualifications they need to succeed in the workplaces of the future.

In Year 7 to 13 our careers programme is tailored to be appropriate to students’ needs

·         Year 10 and Year 12 complete a week’s work experience in the summer term

·         We host an annual Careers Fair where students have the opportunity to find out about different careers and study options. We invite universities, FE Colleges and local businesses and apprenticeship providers along to this event

·         Every student in Year 11 has either a 1 to 1 guidance interview with a qualified careers adviser or can access a workshop on how to make A’level choices.
